We are a pre-professional club for students interested in the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) major and those interested in fields such as speech language pathology, audiology, psychology, education, medical fields etc. We hold informative events led by professionals within the field of CSD, raise awareness for communication disorders, volunteer in the Cleveland community, and attend networking conferences. All are welcome to join!
Members of NSSLHA are met with opportunities to network with fellow students, faculty, and professionals within the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) field. Additionally, members will gain valuable knowledge about the variety of communication disorders that exist and the many paths a career in CSD can take you. A variety of educational and volunteering events will be offered to help advocate for individuals with communication disorders in regards to things like their access to quality care. Even if you are not a Communication Sciences major you are more than welcome to join us and help advocate for all individuals with speech, language, and hearing impairments.
