Topix is an LGBT Center event series. Each event will focus on a prevalent topic for our community and include a short talk followed by a large group discussion.

The March topic is Nonmonogamy and Polyamory. Nonmonogamy is a form of relationship that is not exclusive to two people, unlike monogamy. While not strictly an LGBTQ+ phenomenon, many queer people are nonmonogamous, and it is a nonconventional form of relationship. We'll be exploring labels/vocabulary, common misconceptions, and communication techniques. Participants in this discussion are encouraged to bring their lived experiences.
