Join CCEL's Executive Council students for a panel on the topic of social responsibility, one of the forms of civic engagement. The Exec Council is excited to welcome Harry Hawkins from the CWRU LGBT Center and Cierra, a member of the Mather Center for Women Advocacy team, as panelists! They will speak about the types of training the offices offer, which provide students with skills and knowledge needed to create a supportive, safe community at CWRU and beyond. There will be some time for questions from the audience as well! You could submit your questions ahead of time through Google Form.
Food will be provided! The event counts as Education Hours for the Civic Engagement Scholars.
Social responsibilty as a form of Civc Engagement is defined as maintaining a sense of responsibility to the welfare of others when making personal or professional decisions. Making lifestyle choices that reflect commitment to socially just priorities and using one’s career to benefit community.
