Asmita Shirali has worked at the highest level, specializing in intellectual property, technology, and e-commerce. 



Asmita’s experience spanned a wide range of intellectual property matters including publishing contracts, trademark portfolio maintenance, publicity rights, and advising/overseeing the acquisition, financing, and commercialization of intellectual property assets. 



Asmita’s repertoire includes but is not limited to, the naming rights for an MLP stadium, overseeing sponsorship, software, and copyright matters for sporting events and franchises, and heading up a merchandising and sponsorship program for a world-renowned museum. 



In addition to her tenures at Kirkland & Ellis, Jones Day, and Amin, Turocy & Watson LLP, Asmita served as an adjunct professor, Practitioner in Residence, and pioneer of and mentor for the Intellectual Property Law Clinic at CWRU Law. She is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
