Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical (fantasy/mythical) creatures that became popular in the mid-XX century. They are carved in wood or created with papier-mâché. They can be small or huge, but they are essential to Mexican culture. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy some of them in Guilford House!!
