Please join the Social Justice Law Center as we host an event in honor of Tanisha Anderson. This event will provide space for the community to honor the life and legacy of Ms. Anderson ten years after her life was taken during a mental health crisis. Presenters will provide insights on how the traditional American policing model leads to such tragedies. They will also explore the various legal barriers that serve to obstruct accountability, redress, and healing. Presenters will also share proposed solutions aimed at avoiding future tragedies. Community reception to follow.
