Anyone interested in attending, register here to enter a lottery for a spot on the trip. The lottery will remain open for entries until Tuesday October 15th at 11:59pm. Students will be selected to go on the trip shortly after, and those not selected will be added to a waitlist. The price of this trip is $50. Students who receive spots will have 48 hours to accept and pay here on CampusGroups before their spot will be offered to someone else from the waiting list. Refunds will not be given.
We are aiming to bring 12 people on this trip (3-4 cars with about 3-4 people in each). Anyone who has a car and is willing to drive will have the $10 off the cost of the trip and be reimbursed for gas. If you are able to drive, please consider signing up as a driver (below)! In the past, we've had to limit the number of students we bring on trips based on drivers, and we are hoping to make this trip accessible to as many students as possible.
We will be leaving Saturday morning and driving about 3 hours southwest to the Ohio caverns. In the afternoon we will do a 3 hour cave exploring/spelunking tour, and then camp nearby at Kiser Lake State Park, heading back to campus Sunday late morning. We will provide any gear you do not have.
