Proposal Submission Policy Reminder

Please complete the CAS Proposal Initiation Form at least two weeks prior to the funder's deadline. This form has been streamlined to gain just the basics for workflow planning purposes.

On the Proposal Initiation Form, you will be asked to calculate the date your proposal will be due to the CAS Research Office, five (5) business days BEFORE the funder's deadline. Please make sure to submit your proposal to the CAS Research Office by 5 pm on that date.

Exceptions to the institutional Proposal Submission Policy (three (3) business days before the funder's deadline, as of 9/1/2021) may only be granted by the Vice President for Research, or their designee, and will require the submission of the Exception Request Form.

The Exception Request Form can be found in the Proposal Submission Policy.  Exception requests must be submitted prior to the 3-day submission deadline.
