Build Hour is 2 hours to work on your own project, whatever it is. An app, a game, a robot, that language you meant to learn. Bring it Monday, along with your laptop.

How it works

  • Work on your own project at your own pace. There's no lecture, no assigned group project, and no presentation.
  • Share what you're working on with the people around you, ask questions, and maybe find someone to build with.
  • ACM officers will be around to help you find tutorials and resources, and to answer questions about classes, internships, and research.
  • Found a good student deal or a hackathon worth joining? Bring it and share it.
  • No project yet? Come anyway. Pick a tutorial and follow it here, or see what other people are building.

Oct 12 is also our First General Body Meeting. We'll open with a few minutes on who we are and how Build Hour works, and we're looking for new exec board members. Stay for the full 2 hours or drop in when you can.

Food provided. Please RSVP so we know how much to order.
