Members Benefits

1) Quarterly educational microbiology activities, such as: bread baking microbiology workshop, brewery fermentation facility tour, water quality testing, building Winogradsky columns, and more! 2) Q&A sessions with employees in the field of microbiology: learn about jobs in food science, research, academia/teaching, and biomedical industries. 3) Network with other graduate students interested in microbiology - from the School of Medicine to the Engineering Department. We often get SILOed into our own labs and departments. This is an opportunity to experience the many avenues people use to explore microbiology! 4) As our club grows, we hope to eventually expand into hosting speakers from other universities and monetarily supporting student attendance at ASM conferences.
