Conversation with IPM's Adela Zayas, Victoria Jimenez, Eneyda Ramos and Joe Cistone about community based-economic development in El Salvador, Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua, resilience in times of Covid-19, and opportunities for CWRU students/staff to support the work of partners.
International Partners in Mission (IPM) works across borders of culture, faith, and economic circumstance with children, women, and youth to nurture partnerships that build justice, peace, and hope through transformational learning opportunities and programs.
Panelists
Joseph F. Cistone, IPM Chief Executive Officer
Adela Zayas, IPM Director of International Partnerships & Programs, and Regional Director for Latin America & The Caribbean
Eneyda Ramos, IPM Regional Office Associate, Latin America & The Caribbean
Victoria Jiménez, IPM Immersion Experience Coordinator

Adela is passionate about working with women, children and youth and has extensive experience working on community initiatives that offer solutions for unequal opportunities in terms of education, health, employment and political participation that many women experience globally. She believes in people's capacity to connect with each other, despite their different experiences through life, and how the union of these souls allows the creation of a solidarity network that can transform a shared reality.
As a psychologist, teacher and dancer, Vicky has worked with children since 2009, teaching creative dancing from ages 2 to 11. Based in IPM's LAC Office in El Salvador, Vicky feels passionate about IPM's values and vision of social change.
Eneyda executes (qualitative and quantitative) research processes in different communities where IPM's Project Partners are based to provide growth opportunities. Based in El Salvador, she provides regular training in community mobilization, program planning, and organizational development. Eneyda identifies opportunities for IPM to engage the local community and expand human rights networking while providing accompaniment to diverse volunteer programs that will ensure social and economic growth for IPM's Program Partners in the LAC Region.
