Join the Anthropology Student Association for a discussion with guest speaker Dr. Alisa Goldberg, who graduated with a degree in Medical Anthropology from CWRU and has since become an accomplished researcher and physician in the fields of family planning and women's health. A few of Dr. Goldberg's many accomplishments include her attendance and now associate professorship at Harvard Medical School, her founding and serving as the director of the Division of Family Planning and Family Planning Fellowship program at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and similarly her founding and serving as the director of the Department of Research at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. During the event, Dr. Goldberg will share her academic and professional experiences while providing advice to students with interests in anthropology or medicine, and will answer participant questions at the end of the event. This event is free and open to all students. If you are interested in learning about Dr. Goldberg's journey from the anthropology department at CWRU to the field of medicine and beyond, please feel free to attend this event that will occur on May 6th at 7 pm.
