Mission
The Black Law Students Association of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, exist for the support, guidance and direction of Black students in academic, professional and social endeavors.

Our main function is to assist members in the development of their legal careers and to provide opportunities for exposure to various areas and aspects of the legal profession. We recognize the need to act positively in the development of the Black community, to encourage cooperation and closer ties between its members of the Law School's community.

Membership Benefits
A. Ease the transition of first year students to the law school
process.
B. Aid in the recruitment and retention of Black law students and
professors.
C. Encourage interaction with other Black legal professionals.
D. Educate the law school community about the culture and
experiences of people of African descent.
E. Establish a strong relationship with other professional and
graduate organizations.
F. Perform community service in the Cleveland community.
G. Enhance the social and cultural lives of our members.
H. Keep all members apprised and informed in a timely manner.
