Mission
The mission of the BME GSA is to enhance the community experience for Graduate Students within the Biomedical Engineering Departments at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). The organization should:
1) Organize and execute a series of events dedicated to promoting student-student interactions, as well as student-faculty interactions
2) Increase transparency and awareness regarding faculty and department organization and decisions
3) Communicate with other graduate student organizations to promote community building and inter-departmental collaborations to the benefit of the BME graduate community

Membership Benefits
All CWRU BME Graduate students both part and full time (including CWRU Biomedical Engineering students in the Cleveland Clinic) are members of the Graduate Student Association and entitled to all the rights and responsibilities therein. This includes:
1) Voting to determine which members shall fill the positions listed in the Executive Board of Officers
2) Ability to participate in GSA run events and activities, such as seminars, general body meetings (GBMs), happy hours, etc.
