Mission Club Badminton at Case Western Reserve University offers a fun and welcoming space for students to enjoy, learn, and grow in the exciting Olympic sport of badminton! Whether you’re looking to play casually with friends or challenge yourself competitively, there’s a place for you here. We also compete with other universities, giving our members the chance to connect through sport and experience competitive play.In fall, we usually practice three evenings a week for 2-3 hours. In spring, we practice two evenings for 2-3 hours.For the 1st half of Fall 2025 (08/27-10/22), practices will be held at Veale Courts 1 & 2 on Mon/Wed 6-8PM and Fri 7–10PM. For the 2nd half of Fall 2025 (10/24-11/25), practices will be held at Veale Courts 1 & 2 on Fri 7–10PM and Sun 6:30-10:30PM. There will be NO practices on Labor Day (09/01) and Fall Break (10/20-10/21). Last day of practice will be on Monday, Nov 24.Please note: Practice times are subject to change based on facility availability, in accordance with the CWRU Athletic Facility schedule.
Membership BenefitsAs a member, you'll have access to everything you need to enjoy the game and level up your skills — including free use of rackets, shuttlecocks (both feather and nylon), grip tape, and even a stringing machine if you’d like to restring your own racket (just reach out to the club president for details).While everyone’s welcome to join practices, spots on our travel tournament team are based on tryouts and competitive performance. If selected, you’ll get the chance to compete against other schools — with transportation and accommodations fully covered!
