Site Details: Art House, Inc. is a nonprofit arts center whose mission is to inspire exploration and expression through the visual arts. They achieve this by making art accessible to the Greater Cleveland community through high quality, free, and low-cost visual and creative arts programs for people of all ages and skill levels.

Service Details:  Volunteers will assist with setting up for the Annual Arts-in-Education Urban Bright Exhibit at Art House, Inc. Artwork from programming throughout the 23-24 school year will be displayed for students, parents, teachers, and the community to enjoy. There will be collaborative mosaics, murals, printmaking installations, and more created during lead artist residency programs with PreK - high school students in Cleveland. Volunteers wilil help with: gallery wall prep which consists of spot painting of walls and patching nail holes, moving and arranging chairs, tables, and pedestals, pinning paper artwork to walls and displays, and collecting data for artwork tags/signage. Also, possible light cleaning of the ceramics studio or trash pick up in the Creative Garden (depending on the weather) if you're up for it.

Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Due to the ceramics studio the space is dusty. Closed toed shoes are best to protect your feet. A water bottle and snack are suggested. The orgnaization does not have vending machines or businesses close by for snacks.

When/Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 10:00 am and return to campus by 1:00 pm. Transportation is provided to the site in a CCEL van driven by a CCEL Student Leader.
