Details

Site Description: Garden@Case is a community garden maintained by faculty, staff, and students of Case Western Reserve University. Volunteers raise the food to be donated locally.

Service Description:  Volunteers will tasked with harvesting, planting, light clean up of dead plant material, weeding and preparing beds for fall/winter crops. This may includie turning soil, sowing seeds, or adding compost. We will also be raking up and disposing of weeds and trash on the ground. There will be no heavy lifting required but volunteers should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather.

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the Garden @ Case (corner of Mistletoe and Magnolia, near NRV) at 2:00 pm and will finish by 3:30 pm.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:

  • If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.

  • If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
