Saturday of Service: Storage Organization @ North Union Farmers Market

Site Description: North Union Farmers Market is Northeast Ohio’s largest network of certified producer-only farmer markets – and the leader in Cleveland’s local food movement. With nine markets serving communities across the region, they meet the growing demand for locally grown food, plants, and flowers — all raised using environmentally sustainable methods. More than 300 local family farms, artisans, and other small businesses regularly participate in our markets.

Service Description:  Join us at our office during market day! While the farmers market is happening downstairs, we’ll be doing some light cleaning, organizing, and storage re-arranging upstairs. Volunteers will also get to do a quick walk-through of the market. All supplies provided—just bring comfy clothes and a willingness to help!

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 10:15 am and will return to campus by 1:15 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL student leader via private bus.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy: 

• If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
• Upon registering, please do your best to honor the commitment you've made to this activity.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
• Not notifying our staff of absences or too many absences in one semester may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
