CWRUinCLE offers off-campus excursions to students to enhance their sense of place and connection to Cleveland, visiting different areas and organizations to experience art, culture, food, and local history.
CWRUinCLE invites students to join us during CWRU's Legacy Week on Saturday, April 20, to visit the Cleveland History Center, which contains a number of great exhibits including the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, the Hay-McKinney Mansion and Gardens, the Cleveland Starts Here exhibit, and of course, taking a ride on the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel!
The Cleveland History Center is walking distance from campus. Students will meet at 11:00 am at the CCEL office (TVUC # 165, first floor) and will return to campus by 1:00 pm.
The event will count as Action hours for the Civic Engagement Scholars program.
Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
