CCEL Serves: A Place at the Table Community Meal

Note: There is a limit at 1 ticket per person for this event.

Site Details: Trinity Cathedral created the lunch program, A Place at the Table, to serve those in need in the Cleveland downtown area, and this program has never missed serving a Sunday lunch in nearly 40 years.  A Place at the Table is the only lunch program that serves those in need on Sunday afternoons in the downtown area.

Service Details: Volunteers will assist in serving lunch to guests.  Volunteers should dress modestly (i.e. - no tank tops, tight clothes, or shorts). Volunteers are strictly required to wear closed-toed shoes to participate in this project.

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 10:50 am. and return to campus by 1:30 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site by RTA, accompanied by a CCEL Student Leader.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy: 

• If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
• Upon registering, please do your best to honor the commitment you've made to this activity.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
• Not notifying our staff of absences or too many absences in one semester may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
