Volunteer at Vaccine Distribution Site (2:50 to 4 p.m.)

Volunteer opportunity at COVID-19 Vaccine Site at Horsburgh Gymnasium in the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.

Volunteers are need to help work at the vaccine site for the City of Cleveland. The vaccine recipients are City of Cleveland residents who fit into Ohio's 1B vaccine category.

The different tasks a volunteer may assist with are listed below. Volunteers are encouraged to sign-up for multiple shifts as their schedule allows.

• Help push a wheelchair for community members from Lot 53 (Veale parking garage) to the vaccine site inside Veale.
• Provide directions for community members from Lot 53 (Veale parking garage) to the vaccine site inside Veale.
• Guide vaccine recipients to the check-in table, available vaccine table, and/or to the exit.  
• Greet vaccine recipients and ensure everyone is wearing a mask.
• Provide a mask to those who do not have a mask.
• Provide vaccine recipients directions to the restrooms in Veale.
• Ask people to maintain a safe social distance.

*Please dress for the weather with comfortable shoes as some roles will be outside. At this time, volunteers are not guaranteed to be vaccinated.

*Please note that, given vaccine availability, the distribution schedule may change. If that happens, all registered volunteers will be contacted via email - we appreciate your flexibility!
