Details
The different tasks a volunteer may assist with are:
- Helping push a wheelchair for community members from Lot 53 (Veale parking garage) to the vaccine site inside Veale.
- Providing directions for community members from Lot 53 (Veale parking garage) to the vaccine site inside Veale.
- Guiding vaccine recipients to the check-in table, available vaccine table, and/or to the exit.
- Greeting vaccine recipients and ensure everyone is wearing a mask.
- Providing a mask to those who do not have a mask.
- Providing vaccine recipients directions to the restrooms in Veale.
- Asking people to maintain a safe social distance.
- Sanitizing used clipboards, pens, and chairs.
- Verifying vaccine recipient stayed their 15 or 30 minutes after receiving their shot.
*Please note that, given vaccine availability, the distribution schedule may change. If that happens, all registered volunteers will be contacted via email - we appreciate your flexibility!
