Come explore Cleveland with CCEL! It only takes a quick trip on the RTA to reach The Cleveland Public Library in downtown Cleveland. The walk to the library is beautiful with interesting collections such as chess, very old preserved books, and baseball history. The library includes an exhibit, "Celebrate Those Who Give Black", that tells the story of Black philanthropic efforts across northeast Ohio (it features CWRU alum, Donte Gibbs)! From the library, there are many other historic buildings and places to eat like The Arcade, Colossal Cupcakes and Cathy’s Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches!
Participants will meet CCEL Student Leaders at the Healthline RTA station outside of Thwing promptly at 12:50 p.m.
Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
