Kids Against Hunger is a student organization at CWRU whose mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and throughout the world. KAH works with local partners in Cleveland to pack and distribute highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole. Help with KAH’s next big food packing event during Spring into Cleveland with CCEL! Set-up volunteers will help unload the meals from the truck, set-up tables, and help get the room ready for the packaging event. Some heavy lifting may be required. Volunteers on the assembly line will help with a variety of tasks associated with packaging the meals. Registered volunteers should meet in the Fribley Commons Multipurpose Room at Noon.
If you no longer plan to attend, please make sure to take your name off the list at least 48 hours before the program in order to make room for someone on the waitlist. Not doing so may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
