Site Details: The Gathering Place supports individuals and families affected by cancer through programs and services provided free of charge. Their Vintage Furnishings Warehouse collects donated fine furniture, antiques, jewelry and home collectibles, and holds sales monthly. All proceeds generated from the sales help support the free programs and services provided to individuals and families impacted by cancer.

Service Details: Volunteers will assist with sorting items, cleaning, creating displays, and handling sales of items. Training is provided.

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 9:30 am and return to campus by 1:30 pm. Transportation is provided to the site in a CCEL van driven by a CCEL Student Leader.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:
If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available.
If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
If you no longer plan to attend, please make sure to take your name off the list at least 48 hours before the program to make room for someone on the waitlist. Not doing so may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
