Site Description: Founded in 1932, the Coit Road Farmers Market provides access to affordable, locally grown farm fresh produce to residents of Greater Cleveland. The four-acre market site includes a garden for community members to grow produce for family use as well as an urban farm area for growers who sell their produce at the Market.

Service Description:  The market has a number of garden beds that need to be prepared for the winter season.  This can involve cutting down and adding mulch to plant beds. There may also be some painting and arranging storage areas.

When/Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 9:30 am. and return to campus by 1:30 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with transportation provided by a CCEL student leader.

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
