Saturday of Service: Purple Oasis Garden Winter Preparation

Site Description: Vel's Purple Oasis (also known as New Image Life Skills Academy, Inc.) is a community-based urban farm situated on one acre of land where Cleveland's Fairfax neighborhood meets University Circle. 

Service Description:  Volunteers will help plant fall crops in high tunnels; weed, water and prepare beds for winter; add solar panels to roof of high tunnels; and harvest fruit from orchard.

When/Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 9:15 am. and return to campus by 1:30 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL Student Leader. 

Wait List/Cancelations: If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
If you sign up for this activity, please do everything you can to honor your commitment. If you are no longer able to attend, please inform CCEL 48 hours or more before the start time by emailing serves@case.edu. Not doing so may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
