Saturday of Service: Purple Oasis Garden Wake-Up

Site Details: Vel's Purple Oasis (also known as New Image Life Skills Academy, Inc.) is a community-based urban farm situated on one acre of land where Cleveland's Fairfax neighborhood meets University Circle. 

Service Details:  Volunteers are needed to help us "Wake Up" our beautiful vegetable flower and herb plots.  We will be raking away old plant bottoms, raking weeds and laying out our new beds for our growing season.

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 9:30 am and return to campus by 1:30 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL student leader.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy: 

• If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
• Upon registering, please do your best to honor the commitment you've made to this activity.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
• Not notifying our staff of absences or too many absences in one semester may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
