Details
Site Details: Shoes and Clothes for Kids’ mission is to improve K-8 school attendance by eliminating lack of appropriate clothing, shoes and school supplies as barriers.
Service Details: Volunteers are needed to help prepare clothing, shoes, and school supplies for distribution to children. Duties may include counting, organizing and sorting inventory, stocking and displaying inventory on our store shelves, fulfilling on-line orders, and stuffing uniform packages and backpacks with supplies.
When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 9:30 am. and return to campus by 1:15 pm, unless otherwise instructed by your group leader. Volunteers will travel together to the site as arranged by your group leader. (approx. 25 minutes drive time) (Site Location: 15500 South Waterloo Road, Cleveland)
Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:
- If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
- Upon registering, please do your best to honor the commitment you've made to this activity.
- If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
- Not notifying our staff of absences or too many absences in one semester may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
