Saturday of Service: Organize Art Supplies @ Art House

Site Description: Art House is a nonprofit arts center locatedon the west side of Cleveland. Art House inspires exploration and expression and stabilizes the neighborhood, creating opportunities for artists to thrive. This includes: studio art classes and workshops for adults and kids; professional development opportunities for art educators and artists; StudioGO: fee based outreach arts classes, workshops and festival activities for schools, businesses, groups and organizations; Arts-in-Education programming for Cleveland area schools; and culture nights featuring local artists who discuss their lives and work.

Service Description:  Help Art House organize art supplies and the studio to better serve students during the year. Sort, label, move, and donated art supplies. Clean, dust, sweep, and mop studio area. We greatly appreciate your help making our space neater and welcoming to our students! 

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 8:45 am and will return to campus by 12:25 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL student leader via private bus.

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy: 

• If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
• Upon registering, please do your best to honor the commitment you've made to this activity.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.
• Not notifying our staff of absences or too many absences in one semester may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
