Site Description: Lutheran Church of the Covenant, just south of Cleveland, believes their congregation is meant to reach out to neighbors, offering a community center to the greater Cleveland area. Their services include community meals, Alcoholics Anonymous, counseling services, and community engagement.
Service Description: The Church building could use a little extra cleaning (floors, washing walls, etc.) to get ready for the holidays and the indoor programming that will happen at the church. Duties could include washing pews, floors, and windows, carpet cleaning, cleaning/hanging blinds, etc. There may also be some work outside-- weed pulling, mulching.
When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 11:00 am and will return to campus by 2:45 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL student leader via private bus.
Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:
- If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.

- If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 48 hours, please email serves@case.edu as soon as possible to inform CCEL staff - less than 24 hours will be considered an unexcused absence.

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
