Site Description: Art House is a nonprofit arts center located on the west side of Cleveland. Art House inspires exploration and expression and stabilizes the neighborhood, creating opportunities for artists to thrive. This includes: studio art classes and workshops for adults and kids; professional development opportunities for art educators and artists; StudioGO: fee based outreach arts classes, workshops and festival activities for schools, businesses, groups and organizations; Arts-in-Education programming for Cleveland area schools; and culture nights featuring local artists who discuss their lives and work. The Ben Franklin Community Garden is located on the west side of Cleveland.
Service Description: Volunteers are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes and accessories! Nothing too scary, though. And dress warm to be outside for the event. Volunteers will hand out candy as well as marketing and promotional items related to Art House classes and events.
When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office at 11:30 am and will return to campus by 2:30 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site with a CCEL student leader via CCEL minivan.
Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:
