Minds Matter connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. We strive to equip high school students with the tools to gain acceptance to a four-year university and navigate the financial aid process. Volunteers are needed to provide ACT Tutoring on Saturday mornings, and the subjects covered are shared in advance.
This site requires a commitment of one semester and takes place on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., which includes transportation time. Transportation is provided in the CCEL van by the CCEL Serves Student Leader. The specific dates of the program are Saturdays: 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 & 12/2.
Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
