Join CCEL’s student Executive Council for an excursion to Station Hope, a jubilant community event celebrating Cleveland's social justice history and exploring contemporary struggles for freedom and equity. Engage with over 250 artists as they envision, interrogate, and seek out hope on the grounds of Cleveland's first authenticated Underground Railroad site, St. John's Episcopal Church. Explore the historic properties while viewing works of theatre, music, storytelling, and dance inspired by the most important issues of our time.

Participants should meet the CCEL Executive Council student leaders outside the CCEL office (Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 165, first floor, near the Bellflower Road entrance) at 6:45 p.m. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring spending money if you'd like to purchase food or do some shopping. Admission to the event is free. Thank you for refraining from purchasing alcohol on site as CWRUinCLE is a dry experience. You will be back to campus by 9 p.m., and transportation will be provided in the CCEL minivans.

Accessibility: CCEL is committed to providing all students with opportunities to take full advantage of our programs. Our staff recognizes that students with documented disabilities may require reasonable accommodations in order to achieve this objective. If you are interested in taking part in a specific project but have questions related to accommodations and/or the accessibility of a site, please contact the office of Disability Resources (216.368.5230 or disability@case.edu), and they will work with a representative from our office to answer your questions.
