Grace Hopper Conference (Attachment)
This year, the Grace Hopper Celebration will be held on Sept. 26-29. Throughout these three days, there will be a variety of events including keynote speakers, both technical and non-technical talks, and networking opportunities such as 1-on-1 meetings with various companies for potential internship or job opportunities. This conference is open to both graduate- and undergraduate-level students.
Grace Hopper Celebration is one of the largest conferences aiming to support women and non-binary individuals in computing. This celebration is formed to highlight and empower women in technology and recognize their achievements in computing. The conference is named after Grace Brewster Murray Hopper (1906–1992), an American computer scientist, United States Navy rear admiral and the inventor of the first compiler.
Women in Tech is able to fund a select number of women and/or non-binary students who demonstrate interest and would benefit from attending the conference.
