CSAA is Case Western's premier sports analytics club, where you'll dive deep into the world of data-driven decision-making in sports. Whether you're a seasoned coder or new to analytics, our club offers hands-on experience in using programming languages like Python and R to analyze real-world sports data from leagues like the NFL, NBA, MBL, and others. We aim to participate in major national competitions such as the NFL Big Data Bowl, Syracuse University Football Analytics Blitz, and the NBA Hackathon—and we're always open to exploring more, depending on member interest. Beyond competitions, you’ll also have the chance to learn directly from professionals in the field through exclusive speaker events featuring experts from the sports analytics industry.
