Sign up for either a DIY Candle Kit or a DIY Bouncy Ball Kit. The materials and instructions for the kit will be provided to you at no cost. A select number of kits will be shipped to students outside of the Cleveland area for free (must live in the USA). Join us synchronously on zoom on February 24th at 7 pm EST to make the kit with others, compete for additional prizes, and be entered into a raffle for multiple $10 gift cards. This event is open to any current CWRU student, register in order to receive the Zoom link. Those in Cleveland will receive more information on how to pick-up their kit after registering.

DIY Candle Kit:
There are four scent options for the candles: cinnamon, coffee, rose, and lavender. We will also provide instructions on how to make your own scent with items you have in your kitchen. Make the candle on your own or join us virtually to be entered into a raffle and compete in a candle Kahoot for prizes. First place will be $50, second place $30, and third place $10. If you choose to make your candles asynchronously, you can still compete for Best Design and Most Unique Scent. One winner will be awarded $50 for each competition.
Please note, you must have a stove top or some other way to melt wax. Containers are provided. Note: Candles are not allowed in the dorms.

DIY Bouncy Ball Kit:
We will provide enough ingredients for you to make several bouncy balls. Make the bouncy ball on your own or join us virtually to be entered into a raffle and compete for prizes. We will be holding competitions for the Highest Bounce and Most Bounces by a bouncy ball and awarding 1st and 2nd place prizes. First place will be $50 and second place will be $30. There is also an asynchronous competition for Best Design, with the same prizes.

For both kits, the instructions are provided but creativity is encouraged. Feel free to follow your own recipes and experiment with what works best in the spirit of Chemical Engineering. We wish you luck!
