Details
The Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research will host a Friday Night at the ER workshop on April 5, 2024, from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM in the Samson Pavilion of the Health Education Campus.
Friday Night at the ER is an engaging simulation that creates an opportunity for individuals and teams to learn how to break down siloed thinking and apply interdependent and interprofessional problem solving and systems thinking in everyday practices.
Don't let the title of the simulation fool you – Friday Night at the ER is not solely about the delivery of health care, and it is not limited to professionals who work in the health care field. While Friday Night at the ER simulates a day in a hospital setting, it focuses on collaborating across functional boundaries to achieve system goals, making it an applicable simulation tool for any industry.
If you believe you or your team would benefit from refining your teamwork in innovation, creative problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, distributed leadership skills, and systems thinking, then this simulation is for you! If you ever wondered how your team can be more effective in stressful situations, this simulation will also provide that opportunity.
Join us on April 5th for a fun, engaging and challenging experience. The cost is $50 per person. Breakfast will be provided. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
