Fall Break Canoe Packing Trip Adirondacks, NY

Anyone interested in attending, register here for a spot on the trip. The signups will remain open for entries until 10/9/25 at 11:59pm. Students will be selected to go shortly after and those not selected will be added to a waitlist. The price of this trip is $75, and $65 for drivers. Students selected off of the waitlist who receive spots will have 24 hours to accept and pay before their spot will be offered to someone else from the waiting list. No refunds will be given to students who cancel.
We are aiming to bring 12 people on this trip (3-4 cars with about 3-4 people in each). Anyone who has a car and is willing to drive will have the $10 off the cost of the trip and be reimbursed for gas. If you are able to drive, please consider signing up as a driver (below)! In the past, we've had to limit the number of students we bring on trips based on drivers, and we are hoping to make this trip accessible to as many students as possible.
We will be leaving very early Saturday (10/18) morning and driving 6.5 hrs to NY. There we will meet a guiding company who will shuttle us to the water. We will canoe a few short miles Saturday before camping. Sunday and Monday we will spend all day canoeing and portaging across lakes and rivers in the adirondack mountains, camping along the banks. Tuesday our canoe will be short before we are picked up and shuttled back to our cars. We will return to campus Tuesday (10/21) evening. This trip is open to any experience level and we will provide any gear you do not have. However is a moderately difficult activity, and while open to beginners, it is recommended that you are physically fit.
