Details

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week draws attention to hunger and homelessness here at Case Western Reserve University and within the greater Cleveland Community. This week will hold various educational, service, fundraising, and support events.

The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning (CCEL) is also hosting a week of community service opportunities. Take action through a variety of projects, including serving a hot meal, packing food donations, or making blankets. Help prepare a meal to help address food security concerns in Cleveland in partnership with Northeast Ohio Coalition Against Homelessness. Stay and sample the finished main dish! Supplies, training and PPE provided.

Come join us at OMA to gain some knowledge about SNAP Benefits and how you can access them as a student. The info session will be lead by Allison Gillis, Assistant Dean of Students and Case Manager of Student Affairs.

Donate non-perishable goods to the Free Little Food Pantry. Donation drop boxes are located in the Writing Center at Bellflower Hall, the Writing Center in Crawford, and the Dean of Students Office.
