About Us
In keeping with CWRU's commitment to give back to the community, Doc Opera is a fundraising event for CWRU's Student Run Health Clinic. Our mission is to raise money for the program to provide quality healthcare and related services to those in our local community who lack adequate access or means. Our secondary mission is to provide a venue for creative expression and interprofessionalism among the medical community and health professional students of Cleveland. Due to increasing popularity, attendance in recent years has reached over 1,000 guests per show, enabling us to donate tens of thousands of dollars to the Student Run Health Clinic. Doc Opera is a non-profit organization that relies on area businesses to help us defray the costs of production and to contribute to the annual donation we make to the Free Clinic. We are grateful for the donations and support we have received from many diverse businesses in various neighborhoods throughout the Cleveland area.
