Flyer for Shine a Light on Sexual Assault
Join the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and #MeToo CWRU in honoring April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Our first event of the month, Shine a Light on Sexual Assault, is highlighting SA in higher education, promoting community responsibility to reduce SA, and demonstrating that we do heal.

From 7:00-7:45, guests are encouraged to visit the tables hosted by student organizations and CWRU department collaborators, pick up Sexual Assault Awareness swag items, and participate in activities to honor survivors. From 7:45-9:30, student dance groups will perform and student speakers will share spoken-word poems, open letters, and other messages about healing from sexual assault or supporting a loved one.
