Sexpopalooza is an annual convention that intends to remove the taboo associated with openly discussing sex and sexuality. It has worked for years to challenge the established social norms by giving students a safe place to learn, get resources, and participate in discussions on sex and sexuality. During this time of social distancing Sexpopalooza will be a webinar on reproductive justice. Chalking for Justice: A Reproductive Justice Workshop with Dr. Sekile Nzinga-Johnson will discuss reproductive justice as a linked issue to reproductive rights with the social, political and economic inequalities that affect a woman's ability to access reproductive health care services. In addition, it will involve a call to action to chalk a message of reproductive justice here on campus or at home (for remote students).
The first 36 people to register for this event will receive side walk chalk! You will be contacted by Mather Center Operations Manager Joyce Barchet to arrange pick up or delivery based on your location. Registration closes on Sunday, September 27.
