Honey bees are small creatures full of sweet surprises!

This program will dive into the interesting and amazing world of honey bees. Farm Food Program staff will guide you through a year in the life of a honey bee, explain how bees make the honey we love, and so much more! Participants will also get an exclusive tour of CWRU Farm's apiary*, a peek into the process of honey harvesting, and a taste of this sweet treat!

*Safety Note:
Attendees should expect close proximity to honey bees. There will be a mesh fence separating the apiary from the guests, but there is no guarantee of not getting stung. If you are concerned, please wear long sleeves & pants and take any other necessary precautions to feel comfortable. If you are allergic to bees, we do not recommend attending this program. Any questions should be directed to farm@case.edu.
