Join us for a guided wild mushroom identification event at Case Western Reserve University Farm! Over three consecutive Saturdays—April 26th, May 3rd, and May 10th, from 10 am to noon—you’ll learn how to safely identify local wild mushrooms, understand their ecological roles, and distinguish edible species from toxic lookalikes.
On our walks, we may discover Chanterelle, Chicken of the woods, Dead Man's Fingers and Oyster Mushrooms. Led by experienced foragers, this hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and seasoned nature enthusiasts alike. Whether you're a foodie, a hiker, or just curious about fungi, you will gain valuable skills for foraging with confidence.
