The forest is full of fungi! What do they look like and where can you find them? Which ones cook up nicely and which ones kill? These are critical questions to ask before you forage, and you'll learn the answers when you join Farm Food Program Coordinator Ryan Bennett on this outing in the woods on the University Farm grounds. By the end of the session, you should be able to identify a variety of local fungi and native plants, how to locate and collect fungi in the wild, and come away with lots of interesting facts about fungi, what to avoid and what to enjoy.
