We are proud to introduce the GBSA Google Calendar. This calendar will include event details for the GBSA, WSOM, and graduate student clubs. The executive board will be updating the calendar as events are added, so be sure to check it regularly to stay informed throughout the year.
Cruise into connections with the Graduate Business Student Association! We’ll kick things off with a relaxed social hour at Nuevo Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar followed by a scenic sunset ride aboard the Good Time III. Mingle with fellow grad students, soak up the lake views, and enjoy great company! Registration opens August 8th at 5pm and closes September 5th at 9pm
*There are still a few spots available! Once we reach capacity, you may join the waitlist for a chance to still attend the event. Capactity is somewhat flexible, so we highly reccommend joining the waitlist.

We are looking to form committees to assist our GBSA VPs with different tasks throughout the school year. Joining these committees is a great way to get involved with the GBSA and to immerse yourself in the WSOM Graduate Student Experience!
Only 6 teams accepted, first come first served. 3 of the 6 teams will advance to the final on October 29th.
Teams of 5–7 students (graduate or undergraduate). Individuals may also register and will be matched to a team
Prizes: 1st Place $2,000 | 2nd Place $1,000 | 3rd Place $500
Coaches: Kevin and Joyce Shaw, experienced ETA investors. Kevin has acquired more than 60 companies in his career
Important: Teams must have representation at the Kickoff Event in order to compete.

About ETA at Weatherhead
Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) is a strategy where entrepreneurs, with investor support, acquire and manage small businesses generating $5M to $15M in revenue. Weatherhead has taught ETA for over 30 years, with more than 44 alumni becoming business owners through this pathway. The ETA Club connects students to the Northeast Ohio ETA ecosystem, providing hands-on experience, alumni engagement, and real-world learning opportunities.

Weatherhead Women in Business is looking to fill the VP Finance position for the 2025-2026 school year. The Vice President of Finance plays a key strategic and operational role in managing the financial health of the club. This position is responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring transparency in all monetary matters.
