Dear Global Health Community,

We are happy to announce open registration for the Global Health Research Symposium, a joint venture from
the CWRU Center for Global Health and Diseases, the Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine, the
Case-VA Center for Antimicrobial Resistance (VA-CARES), and the Roe Green Center for Travel Medicine and
Global Health.

The retreat will be held on Wednesday May 14, 2025, in the Thwing Center.

The goals of this retreat are to bring together under one roof the local Global Health research community, to
provide a venue for our faculty and trainees to showcase their cutting-edge research, and to foster new
collaborations from across campus.

The retreat will cover a diverse range of topics, including:

· TB and other Mycobacterial Diseases
· Malaria and Vector Biology
· HIV and Women’s Health
· Pharmaceuticals and Antimicrobial Resistance

We will have presentations from both faculty and trainees selected from submitted abstracts, an interactive and
engaging poster session, and plenty of time for open discussions.
