TODAY: GSC #102
GSC 102 will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 5:30-7 PM, in room 176 at the Health Education Campus (HEC).
To be eligible for GSC funding in the fall, each student organization and prospective student organization must send at least one executive member representative to receive funding for Spring 2025. All GSC Representatives must attend the GSC 102 meeting to be able to vote for their Schools.

Coffee and Donuts with the GSC Exec Board
Join the GSC Executive Board for a relaxing break! Come grab a cup of coffee, enjoy a donut or a different treat, and connect with your fellow grad students. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, warm up, and chat with the Executive Board.
If you want to apply for the 25-26 Executive board, this is also a chance to learn more about what we do and what each role looks like!

GSC General Assembly (GA) Meeting - at HEC!
Do you want to get involved with the GSC? Know more about what's going on in other schools or with other graduate and professional students? Are you a GSC Representative for your school? Are you considering applying for the GSC Executive Board?
If yes, join us for our GSC General Assembly (GA) meetings! You will hear more about what we are up to, plans for the semester, and learn about how you can participate in supporting your school and colleagues.
Dinner is provided, and all students are welcome to attend. However, Graduate Student Council Representatives (Reps) are expected to attend.
The first GSC GA meeting of the Spring semester is on February 4, 6-7pm, at Health Education Campus (HEC) 149A/B (please not the change in location). The registration link will be available soon.
Please note that every GA meeting is scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, 6-7pm. Dates for the Fall semester are February 4, March 4, April 1, and May 6.
Weigh in on library services at CWRU
Kelvin Smith Library and the Student Life Committee of the Undergraduate Student Government have launched a student Library Advisory Committee in an effort to streamline the opportunity for students to contribute and weigh in on library services on campus. CWRU Students are invited to fill out the interest form if they would like to be considered for the committee. Refreshments will be provided at the meeting and may include breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on the time of day. New Spring Digital Scholarship Workshops at KSL
Through a series of hands-on workshops presented by the Digital Scholarship Team at Kelvin Smith Library, learn how open-source digital tools allow you to explore research in new ways and advance the creation and communication of your scholarship. All workshops are held at Kelvin Smith Library and are open to students, faculty, and staff from any department. Workshops are free to attend and do not require prior subject-matter knowledge, with the exception of one advanced R workshop. Join Kelvin Smith Library for the traditional start-of-the-semester Trivia Night on Wednesday, January 29, 7-9pm in the Lower Lever Classroom (LL-06) of KSL. RTA Pass: pick up your Spring Sticker!
Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, all graduate and professional students will have year-round access to the RTA transit system for a discounted rate. For the 2024-2025 academic year, rates are $65 for the Fall Semester and $65 for the Spring Semester. Summers are included at no additional cost.
To pick up your RTA pass sticker for the Spring Semester, please go to your school/college administration (Grad Studies Office) OR the Student Access Services desk at the Tinkham Veale University Center (11038 Bellflower Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44106). You must be registered for spring classes and bring your CWRU Student ID so you can pick up your pass sticker.
