Dear Graduate Student,
It's officially August, and the Graduate Student Council (GSC) Executive Board is excited to welcome all new and returning graduate and professional students later this month! We are actively working to welcome and support your experience as a graduate student at CWRU.

Once the semester starts on August 26, you will receive this newsletter every Tuesday (except when there is a university holiday on that Tuesday). As of now, some graduate and professional students may not yet be receiving this newsletter, so please forward it to anyone who might be interested in our events and other information. We thank you in advance!
You can also visit the GSC website (gsc.case.edu), follow us on Instagram at @cwrugsc, and contact us at gscinfo@case.edu for general information about the GSC, as well as to learn about future events and more.

September General Assembly (GA) Meeting
The first GSC General Assembly (GA) meeting is on September 4, 2024, at Adelbert Hall, Toepfer Room (second-floor conference room). All students are welcome to attend. However, Graduate Student Council Representatives (Reps) are expected to attend all GA meetings.

In September, Reps are also expected to review and vote on proposed changes to the GSC Constitution and Bylaws. Prior to the first GA, a draft of the proposals will be sent to each school president to review with their representatives and executive board members.
Please note that every GA meeting after this first one in September is scheduled for the first Monday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm. Dates for the Fall semester are October 7, November 4, and December 2.
Please RSVP either in person or virtually so we have enough food for all students coming in person: https://cglink.me/2cS/r2257564
